We recognize our collective responsibility as partners with the broader energy efficiency ecosystem to support the delivery of global progress to double the rate of energy efficiency improvement annually by 2030. We commit as a collective of government, company and organizational partners of Mission Efficiency to support global progress on energy efficiency. propose joint projects, work together and invest in energy efficiency with other committed Mission Efficiency partners. As an organizational partner, BASE Foundation urges national and subnational governments to commit to energy efficiency by having an active energy efficiency action plan, by including high ambition for energy efficiency in the Nationally Determined Contributions and/or having UN Energy Compact with energy efficiency commitments.

Further, we request governments to develop and implement as many actions as possible from the Mission Efficiency Energy Efficiency.

We commit to support governments and other partners to achieve their goals by:

• mobilisinga minimum of USD 2 billion for energy efficiency by 2030, focusing on developing smart business models and financing strategies, and in collaboration with key 
• developingfinancial mechanisms and business models that facilitate and accelerates investments in energy efficiency
• developingframework that allows third party investment in and ownership of energy efficiency assets

We commit to further progress on energy efficiency by:

• Developingplans and policies that strengthen system efficiency (e.g., sector integration, circular economy, )

We commit to increase investment in energy efficiency, including to:

• Increaseinnovation investment for energy efficiency in line with Mission Innovation
• Jointhe Mission Efficiency Marketplace to identify, de-risk and match energy efficiency investment opportunities with 
• Implementan energy efficiency program (e.g., regulated utility-led, voluntary community-scale, company employee, )
• Investtime by joining and participating in other energy efficiency initiatives such as the Energy Efficiency Movement
• Mobiliseinvestment and finance in energy efficiency by at least USD 2 billion by 2030 Actions committed by:
