Roundtable: Mission Efficiency Plan to Double Energy Efficiency by 2030

About the Event

Mission Efficiency is a global ecosystem driving progress to double energy efficiency by 2030.As part of this effort, Mission Efficiency has developed a Plan to Accelerate Solutions (PAS) a short, tactical, and collective action plan designed to remove key roadblocks and scale up energy efficiency solutions globally. The PAS aims to align partners, define concrete and time-bound actions, and ensure measurable progress toward doubling the global rate of energy efficiency improvement by 2030, in line with the GST outcomes.

This high-level roundtable will bring together governments, financiers, and Mission Efficiency partners to co-design pathways for financing and accelerating the implementation of the global goal to double the rate of energy efficiency improvement by 2030.

Expected Outcomes:

• Identify practical financing solutions and mechanisms to accelerate implementation of
  the Mission Efficiency PAS.
• Define clear implementation priorities, responsibilities, and milestones through 2028.

• Secure partner alignment and financial commitments to advance delivery of the PAS.

   

Target audience:

• Government representatives, development finance institutions, multilateral banks, private
  investors, philanthropic organizations, international initiatives engaged in energy efficiency and
  sustainable finance, private sector and the international community.
• The workshop also invites Mission Efficiency partners and policy leaders working to
  operationalize and fund energy efficiency implementation.
